June 15, 2010                Corey Kriss, former quality advisor for Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne joins FranchiseRight staff

FranchiseRight has appointed Corey Kriss as Quality Systems Specialist. As coordinator of FranchiseRight Certification Program, Corey Kriss is responsible for the deliverables related to Franchise Prototype Analysis and Operational Franchisor Assessments leading to qualification for certification. Prior to joining FranchiseRight, Corey held management positions with Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne as Continuous Improvement, Lean Six-Sigma Facilitator and A.C.E. Consultant (Achieving Competitive Excellence). Corey received his undergraduate and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Corey also holds a

Masters of Science in Quality Management – Lean Manufacturing and has been certified as a Six Sigma Black belt.

June 10, 2010                Ron Randolph, former Military Intelligence Officer, joins FranchiseRight staff

FranchiseRight has appointed Ron Randolph as Educational Sales Director of FranchiseRight. Ron is currently focused on recruiting and educating potential franchisors and franchise purchasers. At Franchisor Boot Camp Ron will work with entrepreneurs that want to franchise their business to prepare for their Prototype Assessment. In seminars and workshops held throughout the country, Ron and his team will deliver the information needed by franchise buyers to make an informed purchase decision.

June 5, 2010                 Patrick Donnally, internationally recognized quality advocate joins FranchiseRight staff

FranchiseRight has appointed Patrick Donnally as Director of Organizational Excellence. Mr. Donnally will work closely with FranchiseRight Founder Fred Kriss to implement the FranchiseRight Certification program, a first-of-its-kind program that provides a public rating of franchisor operations and offerings. Patrick has held the top Quality Management position in three major U.S. corporations and, as a Performance Management consultant and educator, worked directly with and for worldwide leaders including Philip B. Crosby, Dr. Armand V. Feigenbaum and, Dr. H. James Harrington. Patrick is a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality, a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner, a Florida Governor’s Sterling Award Examiner, and a Six Sigma Master Degree Black Belt. He holds both Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University and an MBA from Rollins College where he graduated #1 in his class.

June 1, 2010                 FranchiseRight to sponsor Franchisee Educational Track at IFA official franchise shows

FranchiseRight founder Fred Kriss was selected to develop a new curriculum for the two key workshops that provide franchisee-specific education during the franchise shows sanctioned by the International Franchise Association. The coursework is designed to provide prospective franchise purchasers with the information needed to make an informed buying decision.

May 19, 2010                FranchiseRight staff member receives Certified Incubator Manager designation

After attending all of the required classes, Fred Kriss has once again qualified for the “Certified Incubator Manager” designation. As usual, the classes were informative and the instructors had vast experience in their field of expertise.

May 17, 2010                FranchiseRight introduces the first franchise Co-incubation program for NBIA Member Incubators

FranchiseRight introduced its co-incubation initiative, a program designed to accelerate the planning, development, funding, roll-out, and profitable operation of start-up franchise systems based on the duplication of successful entrepreneurial companies. Following a rigorous application and orientation process; a licensed NBIA member provides incubator services (i.e., physical space, shared technology, business training, support, etc.) to qualified candidates. FranchiseRight provides an array of franchise-specific education, advisory services, and resources, developed and coordinated by professional, competent project managers following the FranchiseRight System, a proprietary methodology for developing “best-of-class franchisors. NBIA officials reported that they have received very positive comments about the co-incubation program and agreed to provide support internationally. As a member of NBIA and as the world’s first franchise institute and incubator, FranchiseRight is committed to helping entrepreneurs and creating jobs.

May 17, 2010                FranchiseRight Exhibits at the National Business Incubation Association Show

This year the NBIA Conference was held in Disney World in the Buena Vista Palace Resort. With a staff of five we made it through the week effortlessly. This year, the exhibitors all had great products and services. FranchiseRight will be creating strategic alliances with at least six of these companies. The event was co-hosted by the University of Central Florida Incubation Program and The Disney Entrepreneur Center, two organizations FranchiseRight has worked with over the last several years.
